Hello Joe,
ReplyDeleteI can hardly imagine what it must have been like for Rosa on that bus. I have just been reading a book about Martin Luther King and the struggle for equality for African Americans in the USA. He used peaceful protests and followed many of Ghandi's ideas about peace.
Have you every thought about an issue you need to take action about? How might you do this?
Mrs Krausse
Kia Ora Joe,
ReplyDeleteRosa Parks was a very brave and courageous woman. It was very brave of her to stand up for herself and for her people on that bus. Rosa Parks is still recognised for her bravery today with many people celebrating a day called ‘Rosa Parks day’. During this day they celebrate equality and everything else that Rosa Park stood for.
What is one time where you have had to push past barriers in order to stand up for something that you believed in?
Do you know anyone who has shown lots of bravery? What did they do that was brave?
Noho ora mai
