Dear Jacinda Ardern
I would like to make a request about our climate. I think we can do something about it. Something we can do is make electric cars. They will help by not polluting the air. Because car are a big reason and having smoke coming over from Australia is making it bigger. If we used Electronic We could use Battery instead of engines which will take heaps of earth's oil. Thank you for listening to my request.
Kia ora Joe,
ReplyDeleteElectric cars are a great idea to decrease our use of fossil fuels?
Do you know anyone who has an electric car? We sometimes drive to Auckland from Gisborne and I wonder if you can do this easily in an electric car, given the range it has. I found this map that shows charging stations.

Kia Ora Joe,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and Mrs Krausse, electric cars would be a great way to cut down the pollution caused by cars in our country! I am beginning to see many more electric cars on the roads nowadays which is awesome!
You came up with the idea to replace petrol-fueled cars, with electric cars. What are some other things that are causing pollution in our country? What are some more sustainable options that we could replace these with? An example of this happening is plastic bags.
One-use plastic bags were a very big problem as they were being left all around our country as rubbish. One-use rubbish bags have now been taken out of all stores in New Zealand, now everyone has the option of bringing their own bags, or buying paper bags at the store - very cool!
What a great idea!
Ka mau te wehi!
