Week 2 Day 1 Activity 3
Dr Rogers would have been 25 years , 3 months , 2 days. I first figured about how old she was in years and then added how many months her birth and award day was apart and the same with the days.

Mōrena Joe,
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job working out the age of Jessa Rogers when she received her NAIDOC award. I think that the strategies you used to work out the answer were very well-thought through and I am very impressed!
Is mathematics your favourite subject at school? What are your other favourites? Personally, my favourite subjects were mathematics and also graphic design!
When I was reading through your blog post, I noticed that you did not include any information such as the name of the award Dr Roger received (the NAIDOC), or why she is famous (a leader in indignous education). Could you please edit your post to include this and any other important information you can think of. This will help readers who are not a part of the Summer Learning Journey to understand and relate to your writing!
