Week 2 Day 2 Activity 3

Three Facts I learned about School Strike 4 Climate are..

1. That they do not want new coal , oil and gas projects and the Adani Mine.

2. 100% renewable energy and also exports by 2030.

3. To fund a transition or job for fossil fuel workers and communities.

I saw a bit of paper scrunched up and put it in the bin on the road. Trees make lots of paper and scrunching them up can't make them be recycled.

  1. Kia Ora Joe,

The School Strike 4 Climate group are doing some very brave things in order to raise awareness about climate change and how it is affecting our world! I think that this is a very good cause because climate change is becoming a very big problem in our world today.

I noticed that one of the facts you found out about the School Strike 4 Climate group was that they wanted ‘100% renewable energy and also exports by 2030.’ what an awesome goal to have! What are some ways that we could help this to happen?

Ka Pai on recycling your paper! Make sure you encourage others to do the same! What do you think happens to paper when it is recycled?
