Day 2 Activity 3
I do not know anyone who has done something brave , so I will talk about the Mick Fanning story of him fighting a shark.
In 2015 J - Bay Open League Event in South Africa in the final against a fellow Aussie Surfer. A shark starts thrashing in water ( Suspected to be a great white) while Mick is surfing. Mick fights the shark off and actually survives. That has got to take some guts to do and he must have been fearless to fight a great white which killed 6 surfers in the decade.

ReplyDeleteWOW, Mick Fanning seems like someone who is very brave! It would’ve been so scary to fight of a great white shark!
Surfing is an awesome sport, but I find it very difficult! Whenever I try to stand up on my board I get scared and fall off. I think anyone who surfs is very brave because I find it so scary! Do you surf or do any other water sports (swimming, kite surfing etc.)?
What other sports do you play? What is your favourite sport ever? I play netball and I also like to go skiing and swimming, I don’t think I could choose a favourite!
