Prep Planning Friday 20th November

Today we are not doing much work in the woodwork room because we are done in their apart from chisling . We are focusing on making our prices and poster for our station on when we are at the market day. We are also thinking of packaging and I have a bit of an idea. We are going to use brown bag because they are environmentally good and it is sustainable. We are making a logo as well to put on the brown bag as our packaging.Medium Kraft Bags - Brown Paper Gift Bags + More At Spotlight

Plan 13th November Prep

Today Our main plan is to make more of our products. We are also going to fix the  other ones because some of them are drilled on an angle so we need to make them straight. Also Raman and Gagan are planning to get more driftwood because we think we can make more. They will probably go on the weekend during the afternoon. I am also trying to figure out what the price could be because we have different sized products so maybe We could have two different prices in like three groups. One group could be smaller sizes and then  there are large ones.

Plan: Friday 6th November

Our plan is to grab our stuff from the office and head straight to the woodwork room and start making our products. Me and Gagan will drill the holes using the drill machine into the driftwood and Raman will do the chistling to make the candle fit in nicer.

Plan Friday 30th October

Plan: We need to get started on making our product in the woodwork room. We will make a prototype out of scrap so we have an idea of what to do with our actual resources. Driftwood Candle Holder | DIY Candle Project | DIY with Caitlin This video demonstrates how to do it. We will need a drill to drill some holes in the driftwood that a capable of holding a tea light in them and a sanding machine. We also have to measure the height and width  of the tealights before we drill the holes in the driftwood. We will need a ruler and pencil to mark the measurements and write them down.

Plan for Prep 23th October

On Sunday Me , Raman and  Gagan will go to Waikanae beach to collect the driftwood to make our hangers.  My dad will probably take me their and Raman and Gagan will bike their and will meet up their 2:00 in the afternoon at the front of the beach. We will collect maybe like 10 pieces of driftwood and we will need tea lights which we will probably have to buy . But most of our costs are free. Because to add the driftwood sticks into the driftwood , we will use a hot glue to stick it in their. So we make total profit. Then on Friday we will bring our driftwood in like a bag or something and then start making our driftwood hangers the friday in that week. We are going to glue our logo onto the driftwood under the hooks after we have finished making them. Our resources are sustainable because we are not cutting wood out of actual trees which depletes natural resources. That is not being sustainable.  So using driftwood is a good idea.
