Ka pai on your Te Huarere slide show. I am just learning te reo too, so I found your blog post very helpful. Thank you!
I am on holiday with my family so I asked my mum, “He aha te tohu huarere?” using your blog post as a guide. She replied, “He rangi paki.” It looks like we might be going for a swim! What have been you doing over your summer break?
Maybe you could practice saying your sentence and screen castify it to get more points?
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about

ReplyDeleteI have done absolutely nothing so far in the holidays. I will be going on a cricket tournament though! I shall give a go saying it.
You could tell this to someone that does not know what it is and then teach him?
Hi Joe,
DeleteI absolutely did! I showed my little sister who was very impressed! Did you teach anyone?
How did your cricket tournament go?
Bye for now,
Shannon (SLJ)
Hey Shannon,
ReplyDeleteI have taught my sister about this. She thought it was really cool.
I have not gone yet but will next week.
Bye
Joe
Hi Joe,
DeleteGood luck in for the tournament then!
Have a great day,
Shannon (SLJ)
