My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
I really enjoyed this haiku activity as I love to read poetry and I think haikus are a very fun form of poetry with their syllable rules and simplicity.
Your haiku is well written, you followed the 5, 7, 5 syllable rule perfectly and I think your theme is very relevant to summer and this christmas season. I can relate as my family loves going to the beach and passing around a rugby ball on a hot summer day!
What was your inspiration for this haiku? And may I encourage you to step up your work by writing two more haikus and even include a clip of you reading them aloud.
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
