Summer Learning Journey Nanogirl Invention #11 Monday the 14th December

Today I made a dart shooter and a sword. I really enjoyed doing this because I am not a very crafty person and thought of both of them myself. As I was making them I  discovered different things  I can do to improve them . Like when I made the dart shooter I thought I could make it like its technology and drawed three buttons for three different types of darts. Poison , Sleep and Regular Darts. I used pens for the darts. The paper is a sort of armour I can use to block attacks. The paper with the coloured buttons was taped around my arm. Then I got pens that have a button thing on top to bring the pen tip out to write thing and put it under the paper . The button to put the pen tip inside is placed under the drawed buttons on the paper. The tip to put the pen tip out is not under the paper but is just barely visible on top of my wrist. When I hit the button on the paper the pen button under it gets hit and the pen button that brings the pen tip out comes out as if I have shot a dart. The sword is made out of cardboard taped together. Something tricky was that I realised when you hold the sword it feels uncomfortable. So I decided to tape some paper around it. It felt a lot better. Here are some photos.
