Hi I have made a xylophone today. I discovered that it's not just glasses that make that noise steel cups can as well. So I have used those with the paper xylophone I made. The sound they make is really cool. Something tricky I found was measuring the different amounts of volume. I don't have any helpful tips but I just poured a little bit out and have a look if its better not then just pour some more out.
Kia ora Joe,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Shannon and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
You’ve done a fantastic job constructing your different xylophones! Your steel cup xylophone sounds awesome even though you had a bit of trouble measuring the water. I’m super impressed you persevered though and got it done, finding another solution. Ka pai!
I’ve never played any instruments bar the recorder but I’ve always wanted to! Can you play any instruments? If so which one(s)? If not, what’s another cool hobby that you have?
Perhaps you could add a picture of your finished xylophone at the start of your blog post so readers know what they’re making as well as some written instructions.
Happy blogging!
Ka kite anō,
