Tuesday 22nd December Favourite Beach Summer Learning Journey

Hello , Today  I made a PigPen Cipher Clue to show my favourite beach. What I learnt was a different way to show right the alphabet in a different way. I really enjoyed learning about it. I did not find much challenging but I did have to have a bit of a think for my clue of my favourite beach. At the bottom is what each of the symbols represent.

I really like your pigpen code. Is the beach Waikani?
I learnt that it was easy to learn.
Maybe next time you can add the picture on what it means because people who don’t know about pigpen code could not know what this is.

  2. Kia ora Joe,

My name is Shannon and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

Ka pai on a fantastic secret message! Is your favourite beach Waikani? What sorts of activities do you like to do there? When I’m at a beach, my favourite things to do are build a sandcastle, swim, and hunt for shells!

What other sorts of things could you write with the code you learnt? Do you know any other codes?

Maybe you could add instructions to your code so your readers can also try to guess which beach is your favourite.

    Keep up the fantastic work!

    Nga mihi
    Shannon (SLJ)
