Kia ora Joe, this is Elle again from the Summer Learning Journey.
Wow, you have been very active on your blog - well done!
I really like that you’ve chosen such a unique optical illusion to draw, it’s not one I’ve seen before! You have taken great care in the shading to make it look 3D and you have done very well.
I especially like that you’ve included a description of how you made it and how the illusion works in order to trick your eyes! It definitely looks like an unusual object at first, but it was so exciting once I could see the hallway!
What was your favourite part about making this illusion? I want to have a go at making one myself, as you’ve made it look like lots of fun.
That is awesome to hear! I have to agree, it’s definitely fascinating how certain designs can confuse your vision and trick you to see things that may or not be there. I have seen lots of different kinds of illusions, and yours is one of my all-time favourites!
Happy holidays and ka pai Joe, keep up the fantastic work!

Hi Elle, I really like the illusionary part because it's quite cool and tricks you.
