Happy New Year everyone,
I had a go with the which face is real today. I had a go at them and got two wrong out of ten. After that I got them all right. Because the backgrounds caught my attention. Because I realised one of the backgrounds were very blurry and the other was more clear. Some had these weird smudgy things around the face telling they were edited. It helped me telling which one was real. Below is an example. Their is also a video for reverse image search. I think the camera never lies saying is true. Because it is different then editing is. A camera captures a moment in time. LIke the pictures that are real have been taken by a camera. Editing is using the pictures and morphing them into one. the pictures tell you if its fake or not.

I think you did this task really well and it is awesome to hear that you got 8/10 correct, that is great! The tricks you used to tell which images were fake are very smart like observing the background and looking for blurs or distortions in the face.
Great job completing the step it up activity as well, your video was very informative and a great tutorial on how to reverse image search. This is important information for cyber safety.
What other sceneries do you think you would use reverse image search?
Happy Holidays, Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

Kia Ora Zana,
ReplyDeleteI'm not really sure what I would reverse image. But I suppose anything fishy like their was this thing about a type of octopus which turned out to be fake.
