Non-Stop Cricket Reflection

On monday we played non-stop cricket. It was super hot that day and it was pretty hard to keep going through it.But then we moved to a bit more shaded place so we don't get heat stroke.

1.  1. What safety management strategies did you use when paying non-stop cricket?
Well we moved from the field to the front of the school because it was super hot that day and we could have gotten heat stroke.Having a drink of water so we don't get dehydration.

2. 2. Explain what a risk is and give three examples of risks from non-stop cricket (Try and give one from each category). A risk is something that can happen if something goes wrong. There are three categories.Environment,Equipment,People.Three risks that could happen when playing non stop cricket you can get heat stroke, and getting dehydrated by the hot weather.Getting sunburnt.

3. 3. It was very hot during non-stop cricket the other day, how did you keep yourself safe during the hot weather? What more could you have done? When we batted we sat in the shade if we were waiting for our turn.MAybe when you were fielding you could have moved around a bit more.Because you could have gotten exhausted standing still in the hot weather.

Rams Form Reflection Sports NZ

We have created a Form called RAMS Form (Risk Analysis Management). This is a outdoor activity safety plan when something happens. You write what could go wrong and then what could cause it to go wrong and ways to prevent it or a emergency if we can not prevent.
1.It is important to have a rams form because you will know what to do what something happens for safety and how to prevent this from happening.
2.You would use a Rams Form when you go and do  a outdoor activity.
3.You include things that can happen in three categories..You write things that could go wrong in those three categories.
4.The three categories are Environment,Equipment,People.
What do you think could go wrong on the trail walk? (Make one for each category, write how it could go wrong,How to prevent it and a emergency only if we can not prevent.

My example of the virtue Fortitude

In my words fortitude is giving someone courage because it helps and does not make them feel so nervous. In this picture this is a intense swimming race and I think the coaches have gave them some courage that will help them and that's why this a intense race.

St Paul's Journey

My story
First picture: Paul does not want to get on the boat due to bad weather but the officers don't listen to Paul
Second picture: They are trying to go through the bad weather but Paul tells them they will survive and should eat so they are ready for what comes up. They hit a sand bank.
Third Picture: The officers want to kill the prisoners but one does not want to kill Paul. So they get the prisoners that can swim to shore go first and the others who can't swim will drift to shore on planks of wood. The bottom picture is the journey that Paul took.

Jesus Resurrection Poster

There are no religious leaders that have conquered the power of death.Jesus did this to show his victory over sin in peoples lives. Also give the promise of eternal life.Jesus suffered and was tortured just for us.
So that he could free us from evil and salvation.

Water Experiment

On zero seconds,I got 22 degrees Celsius. On thirty seconds I got 35 degrees Celsius. Then on the sixty seconds I got 36 seconds. Finally on ninety seconds I got 42 degrees Celsius.I was in charge of taking the waters temperature and using the flint to turn the flame on the Bunsen Burner. We used stop watches,so we know when we have to take the waters temperature. Then I recorded the measurements on the piece of paper we got.The temperature water boils at is about 100 degrees Celsius.Water can be heated over 100 degrees Celsius. The blue flame made the water inside the beaker in the boiling. After I took the temperature of the boiling water and found out that the boiling water had gone up to 100 degrees Celsius.

Prayer Ideas

When you lead the prayer you try to have confidence and not be nervous.Having eye contact.Speaking in front of a group of people.Being ready when you will lead prayer. You can learn the prayer format. You could learn the Our Father if you do not know it.When you pray, you could pray for the homeless, sick, poor,or people that have been in a natural disaster.Praying for people that have passed away.
